I’m a 47-year old businessman with 2 young boys, ages 11 and 13. I live in upstate New York my whole life. I’m into cars, martial arts and sports. I like to surround myself with positive people and am a very positive person myself.
I’m motivated by strong-willed people and individuals who have a drive for life and success. I changed everything about my diet and fitness a little over 2 years ago when I went to a routine physical check-up. My blood pressure was sky high, my doctor said I was borderline obese and at high-risk for a heart attack or stroke, which woke me up. I was 215 pounds and at 29% body fat. I hit the internet and researched. I came up with a calorie deficit that would allow me to lose a pound or two a week. I did some p90x but quickly discovered I didn’t need to work that hard to get results and followed Kinobody fitness and Muscle for Life. I used heavy weight lifting and HIIT cardio to lose 25 pounds of fat and gain 8 pounds of muscle in 6 months. I have never looked back and have maintained a body fat level of 8 to 10% year round.
I get inspiration from Kinobody and Muscle for Life fitness.
Heavy compound weight lifting 3 to 4 days a week, flexible dieting and some HIIT training. I used only creatine and whey protein occasionally for supplements. I lift 3 days a week and walk 20 to 30 minutes twice a week.
This is definitely just the beginning. I have lifted for over 30 years and learned more in 2 years than all the other years combined. I’m currently looking to put on some muscle – 2 to 3 pounds within a year.
